The Consultation
The first step is to call or email for a free 20-minute consultation in which we’ll discuss why you’re reaching out for help.
Everyone’s experience is different, so we’ll devise a plan for helping you specifically. This plan may consist of goal-setting, exploring what’s missing in your life and how to find it, challenging belief systems not positively serving you, or looking at how you show up in the world and how past experiences may impact this.
The Work
Each session will be different. You can bring anything and everything with the promise of a safe and nonjudgmental space to explore and work to make sense of it. Whatever is meant to come into session will, and always does.
Your feeling heard and seen is my primary concern.
You take the lead with what you want to discuss each week, while I actively listen to provide encouragement and reflection. At times, I’ll even challenge you to view the issue from another perspective.
The Approach
Therapy is integrative and dependent on your individual needs.
Working through a mindfulness lens allows you to remain in the present moment to develop new skills associated with life difficulties. We’ll delve into your values to find what authentically aligns with your wants and needs – so you can start living the life you truly desire.
Therapy is progressive.
Over time, you’ll begin to see the changes you never imagined could be possible. When you put your newly developed skills to work, they become part of your new normal and automatic thought processes.
This is where real change begins to happen. Small shifts in thinking and response allow for new and different outcomes.
Are you ready to level up?
Whether you’re new to therapy or have been before, taking the initial step to reach out for help is paramount.
